About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to support our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive attitude.

This is a permanent Full-time position

This role involves the combination of financial accounting and management accounting related tasks.

• Follow up and manage overdue invoice payments, especially in factory and supply chain areas, over the next six months.
• Assist balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany recharges.
• Assist variance analysis on monthly fiscal management reports.
• Support invoice and stock reconciliation, particularly for upcoming projects.
• Assist the team with various data sorting and validation tasks.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing necessary journal entries.
• Perform ad hoc project-related tasks to support financial operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in accounting, finance or similar roles
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, intermediate excel skills
• Strong organizational skills and work under deadlines
• Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is preferred.
